Motorcycle Awareness -Biker Starfish
On a personal level, Motorcycle Awareness is very near and dear as a Wife to a Motorcyclist as well as an Aunt to one that was recently in an accident. He was flown to a hospital on sight with his wife hours away. Even with protective gear, multiple broken bones were broken that required surgery, punctured lung and brain bleed leaving him unable to wake up from sedation for nearly a week. After several prayers and our Heavenly Fathers will he is awake and will have a very long recovery. It has been a heart wrenching experience I hope to never endure again if I am so lucky.
